Made from premium ripe Pu’er from Yunnan, these dragon balls (普洱熟茶龙珠) are a great way to conveniently enjoy your Seventeas Pu’er Tea. Ripe Pu’er, also known as ‘cooked Pu’er,  is created through an accelerated aging process during which the tea leaves are piled and allowed to ferment. After the tea has fermented to the desired level, it is rolled into balls and compressed. This fermentation process removes the bitterness and astringency that is typical of tea leaves. The result is a tea that is earthy, woody, smooth and mellow.

Earthy, woody and nutty. This Pu’er is smooth and mellow, with a slightly sweet aftertaste.

Brewing

Our ripe Pu’er Tea dragon balls are best brewed using a regular teapot, steeping time of 2 minutes. We recommend a brewing temperature of 95-100°C
