Type: Oolong Tea

Description
Tie Guanyin, (铁观音) or ‘Iron Goddess’ in English, is an exquisite Chinese Oolong tea renowned for its rich history and soothing taste. It is named after Guanyin, an important figure in Chinese Buddhism, as a testimonial to the tea’s spiritual connection and the serenity it imparts.
Crafted with utmost care and precision, our Tie Guanyin tea leaves are handpicked from the renowned Tie Guanyin cultivar, celebrated for its exceptional taste and aroma. Expertly processed using traditional methods, these leaves undergo a delicate light oxidation, resulting in a captivating oolong tea that bridges the flavors of green and black teas. The leaves are rolled into jade-coloured pearls, which gives Tie Guanyin its uniquely pleasing appearance, and make it a very unique Oolong tea.
Tasting notes
Refreshing, natural, and floral, with a subtle roasted undertone and a lingering, smooth finish.
Brewing
Tie Guanyin tea is best brewed using Gongfu-style tea preparation, which involves using a small teapot and multiple short infusions to bring out the tea’s full flavor and aroma. A regular teapot can also be used, with a steeping time of 2 minutes. We recommend a brewing temperature of 90°C
Health benefits
Beyond its extraordinary taste, Tie Guanyin tea is cherished for its potential health benefits and may:
• Have antioxidant properties, protecting the body from damage of free radicals
• Promote relaxation. Many tea enthusiasts appreciate its ability to soothe the mind and body, making it a perfect companion for moments of tranquility and reflection.

Whether enjoyed alone or shared with loved ones, Tie Guanyin tea offers a memorable sensory experience and a profound connection to Chinese tea culture.
